Playing authentic 50's rhythm and blues and rock'n'roll, the all-star Boomshack line up includes vocalists Connan Hosford (the Mockasins), Samuel Flynn Scott (Phoenix Foundation), Jeremy Taylor (ex-Cinematic), and new addition Lisa Tomlins (Trinity Roots, Rhombus and Fat Freddy's Drop). The rhythm section features Bandleader Ricky Boyd (ex-Accelerants), Matthew Armitage (Odessa) experienced jazz and session bassist Dan Fulton, and saxophonist Chris Petrie, along with new pianist Jeremy Cullen. "We let the songs do the talking - we don't rely on guitar pedals, loud amps, trends and fashion but instead rely on tone, musicality and passion".

The band return to Cuba Street fresh from their seven date international tour which includes shows in New York, Los Angeles and London. Expect something special from this local group.
